What you get
- An in-app checklist to install GStreamer, Wine, and Legendary.
- A library for the Epic games you own and separate Wine bottles.
- Install progress and recent activity for supported Epic games.
Before you install
Game support varies. Graphics, anti-cheat, or an extra launcher can stop a title even after it installs. Windows Steam support is experimental. Read the test notes.
This build has not been notarized by Apple. macOS may require you to explicitly approve opening it.
Open it on your Mac
- Download the ZIP above, unzip it, and move PrivatePlay.app to Applications.
- Try opening the app. If macOS says it cannot verify the developer, review the warning before proceeding.
- If you trust the app and want to continue, open System Settings → Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway. Apple documents this manual exception.
- Open Setup in PrivatePlay and follow its four steps for Mac media support, tools, a bottle, and your store. The step-by-step guide covers each one.

In Terminal, run shasum -a 256 ~/Downloads/PrivatePlay-0.1.5-macOS.zip and compare the result. If it differs, do not open that copy. You can also view the checksum file.
